Police looking for two men who robbed west Charlotte convenience store

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Police in Charlotte are asking for the public's help in locating two men they say robbed a convenience store Thursday evening.

The robbery was reported on the 2500 block of Westerly Hills Drive at the Tru Food Mart.

An employee told police that two men came in the store with a gun.

They took several cartons of cigarettes before leaving, police say.

The employee was not injured.

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'10" tall, medium build, with a beard and was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt and khaki pants.  

The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'10" tall, average build, and was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black jeans and a Panthers hat.

Anyone with information concerning this case or the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
