BOONE, NC (WBTV) - Four men have been arrested after police say they attempted to solicit undercover officers for sex at a Boone motel.

According to the Boone Police Department, undercover officers posted online advertisements on Thursday that offered prostitution services.

At least four men responded to the ads, met up with undercover officers, and agreed to pay money in exchange for sex, according to police.

Officers say 42-year-old William Lowell Cable, of Sugar Grove, 40-year-old Tamer Said Salem, of Winston-Salem, 27-year-old Benjamin James Bell Wieland, of Fleetwood, and 47-year-old Todd Vincent Williams, of Boone, were all arrested.

The men were charged with solicitation of prostitution and are currently being held on a $750 secure bond. They are expected to be in court on August 1.
