Woman charged with breaking into church next door five times

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

An Iredell County woman has been charged in connection to several break-ins at a Mooresville church.

Amy Annette Tadlock, 51, is charged with five felony counts of breaking and entering, four felony counts of larceny and one felony count of larceny of a firearm, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.

The pastor of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ reported that the church had been broken into several times during the month of May and in early June.

Musical instruments, cash and two firearms from the church's living quarters were reported stolen.

Tadlock was developed as a suspect. She lives beside the church.

Investigators were able to recover several of the stolen items from the church at her home.

She broke into the church at least fives times, according to the arrest report.

Tadlock was placed in jail under a $50,000 bond.
