CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

WBTV Meteorologist Al Conklin says last night's storms are now fading away, but he's expecting another active day of thunderstorms once the afternoon arrives and we destabilize again.

Little change through the end of the week and even into early next week, as our classic summer pattern has wasted no time in settling in.

More heat and humidity will accompany our daily serving of hit and miss thunderstorms, highs over the next seven days will hold in the seasonal 80s, with lows at night in the muggy 60s.
