Christian Giovanni Pena, 18, is charged with accessory after the fact of a felony.

Police describe the victim as a Hispanic male, approximately 16 to 20 years old, thin build with a short haircut.

CMPD said the victim was wearing a black tank top, red basketball shorts and black/white sneakers.

The victim does not have any tattoos and was riding a black bicycle, according to officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Officers said they responded to a call about an assault with a weapon. When they arrived to the scene, officers discovered a man who had been shot. The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where he later died.
