Two arrested in connection to convenience store robberies in Indian Land

LANCASTER, SC (WBTV) -

Two people were arrested in connection to two robberies that occurred at an Indian Land convenience store.

The incident was reported on May 27 at the Quick Trip on the 9500 block of Charlotte Highway, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.

Dyquane Billings, 22, and Trevante Bryant, 16, both of Rock Hill, are each charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of strong armed robbery.

Bryant is charged as an adult with the armed robbery.

The first robbery occurred on May 27 when the suspects did unlawfully take and carry away money and lottery tickets from the store.  

The second incident occurred on May 30 when the suspects used a BB gun to demand money from the clerk.  

Both men were arrested this week in York County following a similar string of robberies there.

The men are being transferred over to the custody of the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
