CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Seven of the 10 most deadly days of the year on the roads for teens happen between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
That's part of the reason an effort called the "100 Deadliest Days" is now underway, according to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.
One of the biggest reasons teen drivers get into accidents is the number of other teen passengers in the car. Parents are encouraged to talk about this, along with other types of distracted driving, with their teens.
A representative of AAA Carolinas visited WBTV News Sunday Morning to offer some advice to parents, and share some other important information for all drivers.
