CARY, N.C. -

A student at Panther Creek High School in Cary was arrested Wednesday for using his cell phone to shoot up the skirts of woman at school and a retail store, police said.

Bradley Gray Hoffman, 17, is charged with four counts of secret peeping and four counts of possessing a photographic image from secretly peeping, according to Capt. Don Hamilton with the Cary Police Department.

Cary police said Hoffman would use his cell phone to look up the skirts of victims at Panther Creek High School and the Target on Beaver Creek Commons Drive in Apex.

Police were first alerted to Hoffman’s actions at the Target in Apex. A customer there noticed Hoffman holding a phone down by his knees, taking a photo of a girl in the store.

“The cases go back to mid-March, ending in May of this year,” Hamilton said. “We were able to locate and verify four victims in Cary.”

Cary police said some pictures on Hoffman’s phone were of students from Panther Creek.

Panther Creek student Catie Milo said students have been talking at school about the incidents but nothing has been announced from school officials.

Cary police said the investigation will continue as officers look through Hoffman’s phone and computer.

Hoffman did not post bond Wednesday, according to the Wake County Jail.
