Police dive team searches north Charlotte pond after four arrested in shooting

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Police crews were out in a north Charlotte neighborhood searching a pond in connection to a shooting on Tuesday.

The shooting was reported on Tuesday morning along Durham Lane at Collins Street.

Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries from gunshot wounds.

Dive crews were searching a nearby pond for evidence in connection to the shooting.

Four people were arrested in connection to the shooting.

Keshon Johnson, 23, and Bryan Johnson Jr., 21, are charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Jajuon Wannamaker, 16, is charged with accessory after the fact to assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Demontra Glenn, 21, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Detectives say the shooting stemmed from an earlier incident and everyone involved knew one another.

The investigation is ongoing.
