CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Three men were questioned by the FBI Tuesday afternoon at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

US Airways Flight 3457 was scheduled to depart CLT for New York-LaGuardia Tuesday afternoon, but was delayed because of suspicious activity.

All passengers were asked to deboard the plane.

Airport officials and US Airways confirmed to WBTV that there was an incident, and that local law enforcement were involved, but that the issue was resolved.

The FBI confirmed the three individuals were released and that the situation was a misunderstanding.
