CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

WBTV Meteorologist Al Conklin says temperatures remain above average for the first part of the work week, with isolated storms possible every afternoon.

There's a better chance of more widespread rain and storms late Wednesday into Thursday as a front pushes into the Carolinas and then off to the east by Friday, Conklin says.

Temperatures will settle down into the 70s once the front passes through the region, and should stay in the comfortable 70s through the weekend.
