CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Enjoy a family-friendly event, cycling, and benefiting a good cause...all happening soon in Charlotte.
The Good Ride, an inaugural charity bike event, will take place May 10th and will start and end at Blakeney Professional Center in south Charlotte. Its proceeds will support 24 Hours of Booty, an organization that integrates community fundraising and cycling to support cancer survivorship.
Michael Hernandez, founder of The Good Ride, and Janet Ervin, Marketing Director for 24 Hours of Booty, visited WBTV Studios Saturday morning to talk about how these events make a difference in the community, and for everyone affected by cancer.
