The Duncan family has quite the story to tell about how their fifth child entered the world.
Shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, Chris and Stephanie Duncan got in their truck and started toward the hospital. Unfortunately, the baby could not wait. "We were driving down the highway, my wife was screaming, and next thing you know the baby started coming." Chris told WBTV. The baby was successfully delivered in the Duncan's truck near the intersection of Highway 51 and Providence Road. The Duncan's then drove to a nearby Fire Station and called for help. "We beeped the horn and a couple firefighters came out and waited with us until paramedics arrived," Stephanie said. Paramedics transported the family to the hospital. Everyone is recovering just fine. The Duncans are still trying to pick a name for their baby boy, who made a grand entry into this world.
