CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

After a chilly start with patchy frost in the mountains and northern foothills, we're headed back into the seasonal mid 70s again Thursday afternoon under sunny skies, says WBTV Meteorologist Al Conklin.

Pleasant conditions Thursday evening will give way to increasing clouds overnight with low temperatures in the 50s.

Another front will move through Friday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms with highs again in the seasonal 70s, and that front will clear out in time for the weekend when afternoon readings both days will rise to at least 80 degrees, Conklin says.
