Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron in the WBTV Newsroom where tonight, we're looking for a way to fight canker worms. City arborists are touring Charlotte, looking for the worst damage to the tree canopy. They tell us the west side is hardest hit by the pesky pests. Reporter Coleen Harry will share what she learned about the war on worms.

Early voting for the May 6th primary begins tomorrow. You will be asked for an ID, but aren't required to show one until 2016.

The NFL released its season schedule and the Carolina Panthers will play at least three nationally televised prime time games. The Cats will open at home against the Detroit Lions on September 14th and will travel to play Steve Smith and the Baltimore Ravens two weeks later, a game televised by CBS and WBTV.

We're also hearing tonight from local Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant Kyle White. He tells his incredible story of heroism, but admits what happened on the battlefield still haunts him.
