Parkinson's Awareness Month

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - According to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, as many as one million individuals in the United States live with the disease, with 60,000 Americans being diagnosed each year.

In observance of Parkinson's Awareness Month, author and Parkinson's patient Wendy Woodall pays a visit to WBTV News Saturday morning. Woodall speaks about discovering he had the disease, how to fight symptoms, and how writing his book helped him cope with the diagnosis.
