Two men rob Bojangles employee, force him back into store

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A fast food employee was forced back into the restaurant he just closed as two men attempted to rob the place, police say.

According to Charlotte police, the employee was sitting in his car outside the Bojangles along the 5800 block of Highland Shoppes Drive around 11:48 p.m. Monday night.

That's when police say the men stole the man's phone and forced the employee back inside the Bojangles and attempted to rob the restaurant.

According to police, the men were unable to get anything from inside and ran away.

One man was described as a black male with long dreads that he had pulled back, wearing all black clothes. He covered his face with a cloth. The second man is described as a heavyset black male with dreads and wearing long khaki cargo shorts and a black shirt.
