A 32-year-old man was in court on Monday after he's accused of taking indecent liberties with a 14-year-old girl.
Maderkis Deyawn Rollinson was arrested on Saturday and charged with two counts of statutory rape and two counts of indecent liberties with a minor.
According to police the two incidents happened early in 2013.
Rollinson was also charged with possession of cocaine.
Rollinson appeared in a Gaston County court on Monday morning via video screen.
He is being held in jail on a $200,000 secured bond.
If Rollinson is able to bond out of jail, he has been restricted from having any contact with children under 18 years old. He cannot be near daycares, playgrounds or schools.
Rollinson's uncle was in court. He asked the judge for someone to keep an eye on Rollinson.
