SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

A Rowan County teen is charged with having a methamphetamine lab inside a Salisbury home.

Tanner Davis Tutweiler, 19, is charged with manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office. Tutweiler also had outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a charge of failing to report an accident.

Tutweiler was arrested after deputies went to a home on the 600 block of Gold Knob Road early Sunday morning.

The person at the residence had called 911 because Tutweiler was trespassing.

Deputies say a search of the home turned up a meth lab and a quantity of methamphetamine.

Tutweiler was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
