East Rowan High School is presenting the Broadway show, "The Finale," through the weekend, and the title has more than a little significance.
The show will be held in East Rowan auditorium, Friday, April 11 @7:30pm, Saturday, April 12 @7:30pm, & Sunday, April 13, @2:30pm.
Broadway has been at East for a little over 20 years, and has been under the direction of Mr. Dean Orbison for the past 18 years.
This year's production is our last thus aptly named the "Finale."
Students and staff say that it has been a very special part of the community all of these years.
The audience does not only consist of family, friends, past graduates, & East Rowan students, but also students and people from our surrounding counties.
So many look forward to it each year.
Most students have been in Broadway every year of high school.
Some were also a part of it during their eighth grade year at Erwin Middle.
Broadway takes a lot of time, energy & especially heart, according to the students. They say Mr. Orbison truly has a passion for music & because of him that they do too.
