As clouds move out, sun moves in

Drier air is working in across the WBTV viewing area Tuesday morning, so clouds will tend to thin and break allowing for increased amounts of sunshine as we roll through the rest of the day.

Highs today will rebound to near normal, in the upper 60s, a major improvement over the past couple of days.

A few isolated showers are again possible late tonight into midday Wednesday, as a weak system moves through the Carolinas, but only light, patchy rain is expected, if anything at all falls, Conklin says.

Partly sunny skies Wednesday afternoon, and full sunshine for Thursday, both days will be close to 70.

Friday should bring perfect weather for the Knights home opener in Charlotte: mostly sunny with afternoon temperatures in the mid 70s, followed by a very pleasant evening.
