CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Three teenagers were arrested Friday for a shooting at a Charlotte restaurant that sent five people to the hospital.
According to Charlotte Police, the shooting happened on March 30, just before 1:30 a.m. at the Cookout restaurant on the 4300 block of Sunset Road.
Officers say five people were shot and were taken to nearby hospitals to be treated for their injuries. The victims' names and conditions have not been released.
During the investigation, detectives identified three people as possible suspects.
Early Friday morning, 18-year-old Demontravis Reid, 19-year-old Rodney Rodriguez Reid, and 18-year-old Michael Moore were arrested.
The three teens were all charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and three counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Demontravis Reid and Rodney Reid were also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 704-432-TIPS and speak to a homicide detective.
