Warm week in store for Carolinas, pollen sufferers beware

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

After a cool start in the 30s Monday morning, we'll rebound nicely this afternoon with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 70s, says WBTV Meteorologist Al Conklin.

We'll see some patchy clouds overnight Monday, with lows in the 40s, but it won't be as cold as recent night.

Partly sunny skies are in store for Tuesday with warm highs in the upper 70s, and by Wednesday we should hit at least 80 degrees in Charlotte, says Conklin.

More clouds work in for the end of the work week, with a stray shower possible on Thursday and storms looking more likely for late Friday or Friday night.

Saturday looks stormy at this point, with a front moving through the Carolinas.  Behind the front, it looks like high temps will fall into the upper 60s for next Sunday, still close to average for early April.
