An area of low pressure over the Mid-South moves into the Carolinas on Saturday, bringing with it a chance of showers and even thunderstorms Saturday afternoon.
Expect to see patches of light rain early, followed by stronger storms possible Saturday afternoon.
Activity winds down this evening, with the exception of the North Carolina high country where another 1-2 inches of accumulating snow is possible. A High Wind Warning also goes into effect, with gusts as high as 50 mph Saturday night into Sunday morning.
A cold front associated with the low moves through tonight, bringing highs back into the 60s Sunday.
