CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A Forest Park father is facing a first degree misdemeanor endangering children charge after authorities say he left his 9-year-old daughter home alone without adult supervision on multiple occasions and provided pornographic material to her to watch on their television.

Daniel Atuwein, 31, was arraigned Friday in Hamilton County Municipal Court.

Atuwein's attorney said his client has a roommate who was there with the child when Atuwein was at work.

The attorney said Atuwein, who is from Ghana, has been here for three years. The attorney said Atuwein has a green card and works full-time in the shipping department for Global Ridge. He's been at the company for about six months. He doesn't have a criminal record.

Judge William Mallory set Atuwein's bond at $1,000 and ordered him to stay away from the child.

"You understand, I don't want you having any contact with … this child," Mallory said. "Do you understand?"

The girl is in the custody of the Department of Job and Family Services.

This week’s Forever Family Angel who is hoping a family will come along and adopt her is Nasharra!  Every child I meet is unique and Nasharra is special. This young lady struck me as someone who is focused on the things that are important to her advancement.
