App State freshman beats out millions for perfect Sweet 16 bracket

How are your NCAA brackets?  There's not one person with a perfect bracket so far, right? Wrong! WBTV found a freshman App State student who says, though he missed some in the first round, he has a perfect Sweet 16 bracket.

Freshman Davis Dunn says he and two others beat out 11 million people for a perfect Sweet 16 bracket on ESPN's website.

Dunn, originally from Harrisburg says his picks were mostly random.

"There's some knowledge and some is random. Some is just hoping for it, but mostly just random," he said.

Dunn didn't just pick all of his teams with his eyes closed. He went with his gut, though it didn't include the team he wanted to win.

"Duke is my favorite team," he said.

After Duke's surprising loss to Mercer last week, Dunn almost gave up on the tournament.

"I wasn't really happy. When they lost to Mercer, I gave up on most of my brackets. I didn't want to care anymore," he said.

Just when was ready to give up, Dunn realized he was holding the golden ticket.

"It was kind of cool. On Twitter, a lot of retweets and favorites and just a lot of people just liking my accomplishment I guess you could call it," he said.

Remember that billion dollar prize Warren Buffet said he'd give to the person with a perfect bracket? Dunn just has a perfect Sweet 16 bracket, but don't feel too bad for him. He could still win $10,000 from Best Buy.

Dunn says Michigan will win the entire championship. Stay tuned for the games on WBTV.
