Taste of Belgium, Reds Brewery District now at GABP

Cincinnati Reds fans will enjoy a new food and drink lineup this season at Great American Ball Park, as well as new amenities to enhance the experience during the game.

The Reds Brewery District, an 85-foot-long bar between sections 117 and 118 on the third base concourse, is new for the 2014 season. It will serve 60 taps with 23 different craft beers plus Bud Light, Goose Island and Stella Artrois. A dozen local craft beers will be available from Christian Moerlein, MadTree, Blank Slate, 50 West, Rhinegeist, Mt. Caramel and Rivertown. New selections will be rotated throughout the season.

Two Moerlein Lager House Craft Beer concession stands will serve local craft beers and 48 bottled beer selections. Find them behind section 130 on the first base concourse and 113 on the third base concourse.

Taste of Belgium is now the official waffle of the Cincinnati Reds. Cincinnati's own will have a concession stand behind section 133 on the first base concourse, offering up waffles with chocolate and strawberry toppings, Belgium fries, and a Waffle 'n' Chicken.

In effort to enhance fan experience, instant replay will be on the main video board and monitors throughout the ball park.

The Reds Connect Zone is a new spot for fans to follow and chat with Reds players, personnel and other fans via Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Facebook and more. It has free WiFi access and a charging station.

More than 60 iBeacons were installed throughout Great American Ball Park for fans using Apple iOS7 devices. It allows you to receive location-based information about special offers, ball park information and more. To participate, fans need Bluetooth and Location Services enabled on their phone.

Any (really) hungry fans can take the Bacon Challenge at the Machine Room Grille. The Bacon, a one pound slab of bacon topped with lettuce, tomato and black pepper mayo on an artisan roll, is served with chips, half of a pickle and potato salad. The challenge is eating four sandwiches plus the sides in one inning. Those who successfully complete the challenge will receive the food and an "I Conquered The Bacon Challenge" T-shirt.
