LAKE NORMAN, NC (WBTV) -

It's not that Mooresville needs anyone to put it on the stage, but when a basketball player morphed into a hip hop dancer to celebrate an epic upset victory – the automatic question was, "Who is this guy?"

Former Lake Norman High schooler Kevin Canevari was part of the school's 2010 State Championship team, and Mooresville knows he knows how to win.

"I knew that Kevin played for Mercer and I really followed his career 4 or 5 years dating back to high school," Jim McCallister told WBTV.

But did they know he knew how to dance?

WBTV stopped by Kevin's father's home in Davidson and ran into neighbors who watched Duke take on Mercer.

"I watched because Kevin's son was playing," neighbor Tom Carruthers said.

But it's the foot work after the game that's making highlights.

"Oh I thought it was great," Carruthers said.

Kevin's family, and former coach, were at the game to cheer him on.

This week’s Forever Family Angel who is hoping a family will come along and adopt her is Nasharra!  Every child I meet is unique and Nasharra is special. This young lady struck me as someone who is focused on the things that are important to her advancement.
