Police have arrested one person and are looking for two others after two people were shot in east Charlotte Monday.
According to police, three people went into a home on the 200 block of Purser Drive, which is off of Eastway Drive, around 5:30 p.m. and demanded money.
During the robbery, two people were shot. Both victims were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police told WBTV that after the incident, two of the robbers left the scene in an SUV, and that the third left on foot.
That third person, later identified as 21-year-old Thurman Armani Hill, was later arrested on eight charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and drug charges.
Police are still looking for the other two involved. Their names and the names of the victims have not been released.
