$1M bond for suspects in cab driver's death

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Bond was set at $1 million Friday morning for two men accused of robbing and killing a cab driver in North Fairmount.

Keyawhan Lowe, 20, and Dakeith Pleasant, 24, appeared in Hamilton County Municipal Court on murder and aggravated robbery charges for the shooting death of Mamadou Diop, 45.

Both suspects pleaded not guilty and received a $1.1 million bond.

Diop was gunned down inside his cab around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Baltimore Avenue, officers said. According to the police report, Diop was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene.

Lowe and Pleasant are scheduled to appear in court March 24.
