WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Jungle Rapids and 101 Mobility have teamed up to host a party Wednesday for local children with disabilities (free of charge) at Jungle Rapids to celebrate the attraction's newly accessible party level.
The event is called "Rumble in the Jungle" and will take place March 12, 2014 at Jungle Rapids located at 5320 Oleander Drive in Wilmington.
Kids will get the chance to enjoy laser tag, arcade games, putt-putt, and a jungle-themed pizza party.
Jungle Rapids is making special preparations to ensure the indoor gaming facilities will totally accessible for the "Rumble in the Jungle" event.
The laser tag arena will be dedicated to the party and special adaptations have been made so that even children who require accompaniment can enjoy laser tag.
The local Disability Resource Center, Coastal Carolina Muscular Dystrophy Association, Miracle League, and HotWheels Hockey Powerchair Team will be in attendance.
