A Warren County grand jury has indicted a Middletown man and an Illinois man alleging that the men defrauded an elderly woman for promised home improvement work.
Prosecutors say from Jan. 24 through Jan. 27 in Franklin, Kenneth Christian and Rocky Collins told the woman that her roof needed to be repaired and that they had done the work. Christian and Collins defrauded the woman out of approximately $12,000, according to prosecutors.
Christian, 54, of Middletown, and Collins, 56 of Metamora, Ill., were each indicted on one count of theft from an elderly person, a third degree felony.
The Warren County Prosecutor's Office announced the indictments Monday.
