It's Cold...Very Cold! Winter Weather Advisory In Effect

We'll be LIVE with a look at the impact the cold weather is having on our area.  Black ice could be a major be careful out there!  Much of the south is waking up to below freezing temperatures this morning.  The seemingly endless winter has dumped a half a foot snow on the ground in parts of the South, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.  Many flights have been canceled due to the weather...we'll have an update to help you with your travel plans.

We'll have the very latest on the crisis in Ukraine.  Secretary of State John Kerry is heading to the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, while Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered tens of thousands of his troops who had been conducting military exercises near the Ukrainian border to return to their bases.

The Union County Board of Education will be meeting later today to discuss the budget...and they'll have plenty to think about.  A public hearing last night drew throngs of parents and others concerned about the overcrowding issue in schools.  We'll have more on what happened.

It was a bad night for the Charlotte Bobcats in NBA action as the team took on the Miami Heat in Miami.  But it was a record-setting night for LeBron James, who scored a career-high 61 points.  We'll have details.
