Report: Burglars hit Charlotte church twice, steal pulpit, fake plants, kitchen sink

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Police in Charlotte are investigating who took over $4,000 worth of items from an east Charlotte church.

The break-ins were reported on Feb. 25 and 26 at The Light of the World Church on the 9600 block of Parkton Road, according to the report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

On Feb. 25, the break-in was reported at 7:23 p.m. A computer, TV, some tables and chairs and a clock were taken.

On Feb. 26, the break-in was reported at 4 p.m. A pulpit, freezer, refrigerator and a sink were reported taken, according to the report.

Investigators say they have made no arrests in the case.

The total value of the items taken is listed on the report as $4,575.
