Oddo Era Ends at Charlotte Catholic

The Jim Oddo era is finally over at Charlotte Catholic as the school announced on Tuesday that he will retire after the school year.

The 78 year old Oddo started coaching at Catholic back in 1973 and won 358 games.  That's the most victories in the state of North Carolina by a coach at one school.

In his 41 season at Catholic, the Cougars made 6 state championship game appearances and won 3 in 1977, 2004, and 2005.

In his 41 years, his Cougar teams made the playoffs 30 times and he only had 6 losing seasons.
