Three men pleaded guilty to murder after deputies said they killed a Rock Hill man over a dispute about a dog.
Deputies said Shannon Jenkins was shot to death during a home invasion in January 2013.
According to the 16th Circuit deputy solicitor, Vincent Alonzo Bratton, 27, of York, was set for trial next week but instead pleaded guilty to murder and other charges. Hours before the killing, Bratton was released on $30,000 bond on drug and weapons charges.
Rockyee Mobley and Dennis Bernard Page, both 25 and both from Rock Hill, also pleaded guilty and were set to testify against Bratton at Trial, the deputy solicitor said.
All three men will be sentenced for the homicide, as well armed robbery, conspiracy and weapons charges. They face a minimum of 30 years in prison.
At the time of his death, Jenkins was facing pending drug charges.
