Four fires in three days in Salisbury raise suspicions of police

SALISBURY - Saying it sounds like a little too much to be a simple coincidence, Salisbury Police are looking into a series of four fires that they were set in the last three days.

On Monday two dumpsters at the Piedmont Alloy location, 320 E. Franklin Street, were set on fire.

On Wednesday night fires were set at two vacant homes.

Police say a home under renovation at 28 Knox Street was damaged by fire.  A neighbor told police that she saw a man running from the home.

The fire was set on the outside of the house near a window, according to police.

Just about twenty minutes later fire crews in East Spencer were called to a fire at 818 Cedar Street.  The home there is believed to be vacant.

Anyone with information on these cases is asked to call Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
