Police in Lancaster are looking into a murder on West MeetingStreet.
Officialssay around 11 o'clock, Tuesday night, 22-year-old Rondell Thompson was shot infront of a home in the 800 block of West Meeting Street. It's directly acrossfrom Springs Memorial Hospital.
Policefound Thompson's body in the front yard when they arrived and say he did notlive at the residence.
WBTVspoke with a neighbor who didn't want to be identified.
Shesays this crime hits too close to home.
"It's justvery shocking and disturbing that something like that would take place in aneighborhood like this," shesaid.
Sofar, there have been no arrests in the case, although authorities havequestioned several people.
Investigatorsare also looking for the motive of Tuesday night's crime, leaving this neighborto feel uncomfortable in her own home.
"It'svery surprising something like that would happen in this neighborhood, rightacross from the hospital. I just don't feel as comfortable knowing somethinglike that happened this close."
Investigatorstold WBTV they have a history with the house.
Policehave been called out there several times for narcotics investigations.
