CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

In the wake of our winter storm, roads will be hazardous early Friday morning as temperatures dip below freezing, says WBTV Meteorologist Al Conklin.

Use extreme caution if you must venture out, as icy roads will likely greet you.

Beyond the morning rush, there are few weather concerns for this Valentine's Day.

We'll enjoy a decent amount of sunshine and afternoon readings well up into the 40s.

Another front races through here late tonight, pushing a few showers across the region, with snow showers in the mountains.

Beyond predawn Saturday morning, the weekend looks dry but cool with highs only in the upper 40s Saturday and low 50s Sunday.

If you're ready for some warmer air, you'll like the remainder of this 7-day forecast as we take a run at 70 degrees late week next week!
