Good morning. It's Christine Nelson here. Today is Wednesday, February 12. I had a quick moment to send you this email so you know what to expect in our coverage of the winter weather in the Carolinas. Tune in to WBTV News This Morning at 4:30 a.m. right now!
WEATHER ALERT: So it's coming back. We're tracking more winter weather and it's hitting South Carolina right now. We have Meteorologists Al Conklin and Ashley Batey in, teaming up to give you the most reliable forecast.
What we know now: Snow is falling in South Carolina and it looks like that state will get hit hardest with ice. Charlotte and surrounding counties will see more snow today too. In fact, Al is telling us it's going to get a bit dicey to travel in the area later in the day. He has all the details.
We have a team of reporters on staff this morning so we can give you live reports on what's happening. Astrid Martinez, Kristen Hampton, David Whisenant and Ashton Pellom are already in the field gathering info.
