At 5:00, we're looking into a reported sexual assault on the UNC Charlotte campus overnight. A woman says a man broke in an assaulted her early this morning. Police tell us they know who they're looking for an expect an arrest shortly.
In Charleston, if you've ever traveled from downtown over to Patriot's Point, you have to cross the Ravenel Bridge. That bridge was shut down today because huge chunks of ice were melting off the superstructure and falling onto cars. Several were damaged. No word on how long this main artery will be closed for falling ice.
Super Bowl weather in New York looks like it's going to be very nice for Groundhog Day. And that begs the question-- if the NFL doesn't mind playing outdoors in a cold weather site, why not bring the big game to Charlotte?
