With the polar blast now pushing the south, and bringing in more freezing temperatures the next couple of days, the American Red Cross, together with Mecklenburg County and Charlotte Mecklenburg Emergency Management is opening a Warming Center to make sure everyone can escape from the cold.
The Center will open Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. and will remain open until noon on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
The Station is located at 618 North College Street in the Mecklenburg County Homeless Resource Center.
