Report: Salisbury search ends with 3 arrested on drugs, weapons charges

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

Three people were arrested on several charges each after a search of two apartments in Salisbury, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

The warrants were carried out Monday at the Civic Apartments on Hall Street.

During the search of one of the apartments, officers found 79.8 grams of marijuana, a sawed off shotgun, and a stolen 380 cal. hand gun.

After that search, Wendy Donell McCoy, 42, was arrested and charged with felony possession of schedule VI. Christopher James Robinson, 27, was charged with possession of stolen goods, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, altering serial numbers on a gun and simple possession of schedule VI.

They were both taken to the Rowan County Detention Center. McCoy was placed under a $10,000 bond, while Robinson's bond was set at $15,000.

During the search of the second apartment, investigators said they found and seized a stolen 9 mm Taurus handgun, 10 grams of marijuana bagged for sale, 5 Xanax pills, scales and a grinder.

 Jermaine Dion Davis, 27, of Asheboro, was arrested after the search and charged with possession of stolen goods, possession of a firearm by felon, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule VI, simple possession of schedule IV  and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Davis was also taken to the Rowan County Detention Center and placed under a $20,000 bond.
