Baby's death upsets neighbors

How can anybody in their right mind hurt an innocent child?-- that's the question Kannapolis neighbors are asking tonight after a 15-month old baby girl dies from severe injuries. Hello everyone, this is Paul Cameron in the WBTV Newsroom. A heartbreaking story that has people upset. Police are upset, too. They are questioning everyone around the child. So far, no arrests.

In Charlotte, there is hurt and anger over a grand jury's decision not to indict CMPD Officer Randall Kerrick after he shot an unarmed man ten times, killing him. Kerrick is white and his victim, Jonathan Ferrell, is black. A rally is planned today even though the state Attorney General plans to resubmit the same voluntary manslaughter charges to a new grand jury next week. We'll listen in to the protest.
