Two men wanted in connection to Kannapolis McDonald's robbery

KANNAPOLIS, NC (WBTV) -

Police in Kannapolis are looking for two men who they say robbed a McDonald's Tuesday morning.

The incident was reported at 4 a.m. at the McDonald's on the 300 block of S. Cannon Boulevard, according to the Kannapolis Police Department.

Investigators say two black males pointed hand guns at a delivery driver and several store employees that were unloading a delivery truck and forced them into a walk in freezer inside the business.

While one of the suspects held the employees and delivery driver at gun point the other suspect went to the manager's office were the manager was located and told her to empty the contents of the cash drawers. 

After taking an undetermined amount of cash from the manager's office both suspects fled on foot.

The suspects are described as being black males with one wearing a black sweat shirt, black pants, and red and black shoes.

The other suspect was wearing a navy blue sweat shirt and black pants.

None of the employees were physically injured during the robbery.
