Tony Gonzalez selected to play in Pro Bowl

Tony Gonzalez' football playing career isn't over yet.

The most prolific tight end in NFL history was named to his 14th Pro Bowl Tuesday, after announcing he would retire from the Atlanta Falcons and NFL at the end of the 2013 regular season.

Gonzalez, who will replace San Francisco tight end Vernon Davis, will travel to Hawaii for the fourth time in his five seasons with the Falcons, according to the team.

Gonzalez caught a team-high 79 passes for 803 yards and 8 touchdowns this season.

He was third among tight ends in the league in receptions and tied for fourth in touchdowns.
