Police asking for public's help in east Charlotte fast food robbery

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Police in Charlotte are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say robbed a fast food restaurant.

On Monday, Jan. 13 at approximately 7:05 a.m., an armed black male suspect entered the Cook Out, located at 1815 Sardis Road North, according to the news release from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The suspect then demanded money from employees.  After obtaining money from the business he then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, between 5'10" – 6'0" tall, medium build, approximately 25 years old, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, a black and white polka dot bandana across his face, wearing gloves, and carrying a light blue colored duffel bag. 

This incident appears to be connected to the armed robbery of a Cook Out in Denver, North Carolina.
