The mother of a teen charged with murder has turned herself in to authorities.

According to Rock Hill Police, Pamela St. Hill turned herself in at the Rock Hill Law Center around 2 p.m. Friday.

St. Hill is the mother of 19-year-old Abdul Emmanuel, who is being charged in the murder of Michael Giddens.

Two other people, 16-year-old Maurice Lamont Burris and 17-year-old Dontavion Qua'mek White, have also been arrested for their involvement in the incident.

The shooting was reported around 2 p.m. on Friday, January 10, along the 1100 block of Cedar Grove Lane.

When officers arrived at the scene they found an unresponsive man, later identified as Michael Giddens, suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to Piedmont Medical Center where he died shortly before 5 p.m.

The following Monday, Burris and White turned themselves in to police. They are both being charged with murder, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and possession of a firearm under the age of 18.

Officers say they will both be tried as an adult due to the seriousness of the crimes.

On January 15, Emmanuel turned himself in the next day, and was charged with murder, pointing and presenting firearms at a person, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, armed robbery with a dangerous weapon, criminal conspiracy, and a parole violation.

A fourth person, LaToya Belinda St. Hill was also arrested in connection to the case. Police say she helped the suspects flee to Charlotte. She was charged with accessory after the fact.

Officials say that Emmanuel's mother, Pamela St. Hill, also helped the suspects allude arrest for several days.

Police still have not released a possible motive for the shooting, but say they do not believe it was a random act of violence.
