Tyler, TX – Today, the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested an East Texas woman on firearms and drug charges. The task force tracked down and arrested 33-year-old Elizabeth Ann Frowley.
She was wanted by the Smith County Sheriff's Office on four felony charges; two warrants for Felon in Possession of Firearm, Bond Forfeiture for Manufacture or Delivery of Methamphetamine, and Failure to Appear for Court. Frowley has been wanted by the Smith County Sheriff's Office since August 2013.
Information was developed that she would be hiding out in the Enchanted Lakes community near Mineola. The USMS Task force officers searched for Frowley at a relative's residence and found her hiding inside a freezer in the garage.
Task Force officers located another wanted person at Frowley's residence and arrested 31-year-old David Eugene Walker, who was wanted out of Van Zandt County for Probation Violations/original charge Possession of Controlled Substance.
The task force members making this arrest consisted of the Smith County Sheriff's Office, Tyler Police Department, Smith County District Attorney Investigators, Smith County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, and Deputy U.S. Marshals.
