CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The organization Hoodie's House of Hope for Youth served meals to the homeless on Sunday at Greenville Neighborhood Center on Spring Street.
The organization provided food, arts and crafts, and haircuts to those attending the event.
Jeff Hood, President of Hoodie's House of Hope for Youth said "We wanted to provide 4 or 5 hours with them so hopefully they can forget about their circumstances for a little while and focus on just having fun,"
A room was set up as well so attendees could watch the Carolina Panthers game.
The Inaugural Wild Wing Cafe High School Hoop's Classic is also benefiting Hoodie's House of Hope for Youth.
The tournament championship game will be on Monday at Ardrey Kell High School.
